FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

GENERAL

Are all products that 1LastPair sell authentic?

Yes, everything is guaranteed authentic. We DO NOT sell, accept, or otherwise deal with fakes, “grey market” items, or factory variants. All sneakers we accept for sale are carefully and thoroughly inspected for condition and authenticity at multiple checkpoints before they’re offered to customers. The staff is trained to identify any and all inconsistencies, and our policy is to decline items that don’t meet our standards.

Does 1LastPair sell used sneakers?

Yes, we accept sneakers in worn condition for consignment. However, please keep in mind that a $5 cleaning fee will be deducted from finial sale price. All worn sneakers will be listed as “WORN”.

Do all of the images on 1LastPair accurately represent the sneaker?

While all product images on 1LastPair are professionally shot and edited, they are for reference only. There may be subtle color differences and design cues in the shoe you purchase and receive that aren’t captured in the product images.

Does 1LastPair accept trades?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept trades. Some of the sneakers we carry are owned by independent sellers and we do not have the authority to barter or negotiate with their property.

What does 90/10 consignment mean?

All shoes are sold on 90/10 consignment, meaning independent owners provide us with the sneakers they wish to sell. Once their items sell, we provide them with a check for 90-percent of the final sale price. We handle everything in between, including storage and relieving sellers of the stress with arranging auctions, taking photographs, dealing with complicated or fraudulent payments, and boxing and shipping the sneakers. *The consignment fee is 90/10 of sale price or $25, whichever is greater. Consignor will receive the remainder of sales proceeds less any applicable expenses (i.e., cleaning fee, PayPal fees.) Items that are not in brand new condition may require a cleaning prior to being put on the website. In this case, a $5 cleaning fee will apply.

I’m a consignor. How do I know when my sneakers sell, and how do I get paid?

When a consignor’s sneaker sells, we send a sales report every TUESDAY which will reflect the sales from the previous week. We issue bank checks valued at 90-percent of the final sale price. Consignors check will be mailed out on Tuesday.  If you’re interested in selling with us, or learning more about the consignment process, feel free to visit www.1lastpair.com and click on the CONSIGNMENT tab for more details.

Who sets the prices?

Individual sellers work with our staff to set the sale prices for their own sneakers. They determine the values based on a variety of factors, including rarity, condition, size availability, and how quickly they wish to sell. Our staff only assists with assessing maximum market values and projecting potential sale times. Because storage space is at a premium at 1LastPair, we encourage consignors to price their merchandise to sell quickly.

I’m looking for a specific shoe. Do you have it?

Our entire inventory is listed on our website. If you can’t find it here, let us know at 1lastpair@gmail.com and we will try to assist you. Contact us for more details. Shoes are updated DAILY, so check back often.

What does conditional mean? And why can’t I just order them online?

All shoes will eventually show signs of age. This includes, but is not limited to, yellowing, bleeding, cracking and creasing, cloudy air bubbles, fading, and more. If a sneaker shows significant signs of any of those conditions, we list them accordingly and additional images of the item can be provided upon request. Since all sales are final, we prefer customers have an opportunity to review and inspect all conditional sneakers before committing to purchase. With some products, you may also see that the word conditional is used referring to the packaging and not the sneaker itself. Please read sneaker description carefully.

What does “may not be suitable for wear” mean?

As sneakers age, the rubber hardens and the glue holding them together dries. That means the soles can crack or separate from the upper when worn. We carefully inspect and note the condition of all items in our inventory, but cannot assume any responsibility with regard to older, vintage sneakers.

Will a signature be required when my package is delivered?

In general, it is up to the discretion of the delivery driver to leave a package unattended and in a safe place. If you’re unavailable during standard delivery times for your local carrier, you can contact them directly once your package ships to arrange for a pick-up at your local delivery center. However, we do not allow our packages to be re-routed to an alternate address.

Why was my order canceled?

The transaction reflected in your account activity is only an authorization for funds, not a charge. That happens automatically when you submit an order, even if it was canceled by the security measures in our payment-processing system. Depending on your financial institution’s policies, authorizations can hold for 3-7 business days before the funds are made available to you again.  Contact your financial institution for more information.
